THE PRINT
Bubble Girl was originally located in Hackney, East London as is much of Banksy's early work. It first appeared in February 2008 next to a youth center. The artwork depicts a young girl blowing bubbles as she slides down a drainpipe. The girl seems to be able to find enjoyment even though her playground seems to consist of nothing but industrial piping. She seems oblivious to her actual surroundings and possibly even the problems and difficulties presented by the environment in which she lives her day to day life. This premium quality giclee art print has been produced on luxurious 100% cotton rag textured art paper using archival quality inks resulting in a superior print suitable for museum or gallery display.
